A customer’s young son was walking across the hall as l had all my tools out. His dad told him: “Watch the sawdust, don’t stand in it.” The little lad squeezed past me, scampering light on his feet. Later that night he asked his mum. “Was that really stardust on the floor near the plumber?”
I imagine she smiled contentedly and replied: “Of course it was. Love it plumbing opens a can everyday.” At least that is what l like to think.
Truth be told, the customer was more than thrilled with the results. Her first reaction on seeing the bathroom finished: “It’s amazing. I love it. We are arguing who goes in the bath first. We all love the niche light and the mosaics are so different. We find a new image in it every time.”
This was a total transformation. You have either got stardust or you haven’t.
